Who is responsible for your data?

What we collect

• Your account: username, email address, password (stored encrypted, never in plain text), display name, profile photo, banner color, country (optional), language and time zone.
• Your activity in the game: bets, coins, XP, levels, flames, friends, notifications, badges, referral code.
• The TikTok links you analyze: we read the video's public statistics (views, likes, creator, thumbnail). These videos may appear in the Trending tab, without your name.
• Technical data: your IP address is used to limit abuse (too many login attempts, for example). It is kept in memory for one hour at most, then forgotten; the site keeps no visit logs.

Why

To run the game (your account, your bets, the leaderboards), protect the site against abuse, and reply to your messages. Legal basis: providing the service you use and our legitimate interest in securing the site.

Who with

No one: no selling and no sharing for advertising purposes. Your data is stored on our host's server (see Legal notice).

Visibility

Your name, photo, banner, country and level are visible to other players. Your statistics too, unless you make your profile private (Settings › Privacy).

Cookies

Only necessary cookies: one to keep your session open, and a “Stay logged in” one valid for 1 year if you tick the box. The site also stores a few display preferences in your browser (open tab, chosen filter). There are no advertising cookies and no audience measurement tools.

How long

As long as your account exists. If you delete it (Settings › Account › Delete my account), your data is erased from the site immediately, then from backups within 14 days.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data, object to its use or request a copy by writing to [email protected]. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the CNIL (cnil.fr).

Age

Kote is for people aged 15 and over, or 13 and over with a parent's consent.
